A wonderful place to stay!! I truly enjoyed the pool, the place was nice and clean, the staff were very helpful. I was not able to use the breakfast vouchers, as the restaurant was a few blocks away and I woke up too late. Nontheless, I recommend booking the suits, as they are bigger and more comfortable. I was traveling by myself and the area felt safe, even at the late hrs of the night. I will definitely visit again.

This was a bit off the beaten path but so nice to have a nice quiet place to relax. Still is quick easy access to excursion pickups, restaurants, and the beach. The property is quaint, clean and quiet. The woman at the check in was accommodating and friendly. It’s true , you have a short walk to get breakfast but the restaurant Terra Negra is so cute with great staff. I will hear again for a nice relaxing trip. Please note the studio is extremely small. The next size up has two balconies, a separate living/dining/kitchen. Look around the property to find all of the fruits and veggies growing.

I enjoyed my stay at Caribbean Sun. The staff at the hotel was great. Very helpful and friendly. The room I bookee was small but had everything I needed. A kitchenette, fridge and a coffee maker that looked brand new. The fridge and coffee maker really came in handy on mornings that I had early day tours since the hotel breakfast starts at 9am.

My stay at the Caribbean Apart Hotel was well worth the money I spent. The hotel staff is amazing and very helpful. The pool was clean and warm, although I did not spend much time around the pool because the beach was close and I travelled outside of Punta Cana a lot, I did appreciate access to a pool. The room was good for the price, did not have any issues at all - the air conditioner and hot running water was the best part. I enjoyed the beautiful sunny walk in the mornings to the Terra Negra Mexican restaurant for a free breakfast - I had the Dominicano breakfast everyday. All colmados and restaurants are close too - walking distance. I have absolutely no complaints! I am definitely going to be staying here again! :)

The room was clean and spacious. I had two balconies which was a plus! AC in the bedroom worked great and there was a fan in the kitchen/living room. Pool was great and clean for an outdoor pool. All staff were so lovely and kind. Always willing to help and check ur stay was going well. When u checked in the lady explained everything and walked me to my room. My flight got delayed and I was able to check out later for $10 thankfully and was told I could stay around the pool/social areas for as long as I liked while I waited for my taxi. Free breakfast everyday. I only went once but it was pretty good and servers were nice only 5min walk. Good location for pickups for excursions (easy to tell them it’s the bright yellow building). Restaurants nearby and minimarts. There was quite a few men hanging round the area nearby at night which I was cautious about at first as a female solo traveler who only speaks basic Spanish but nothing occurred and most were friendly/helpful. There was a roach one night after a thunderstorm but I just swept it out. Can’t expect anything else after that much rain. Beautiful part/hotel. Very colourful and even had cats and turtles. I would definitely stay here again! Exactly what I wanted! Not resort but not in the middle of nowhere.

It is such a colourful little hotel right in the heart of Los Corales neighbourhood!! It is so clean and the staff is very kind. It is also very affordable. I have stayed there twice before and I plan to return there very soon!

Pros: price, location to beach and restaurants, breakfast included, the pool was nice Cons: You get below what you paid for here. The hotel does not have a clothes dryer and the guest bedding and towels are line dried which is crucial information to have for someone with certain allergies. The keys are left in the door for the next guest which enables anyone to come in your room after housekeeping comes and before the room is assigned to you. Upon entering the room, there was food in the bed, and ants all over the sugar for coffee, and a housekeeper left her personal sandals under the bed that she had to come retrieve from us later. This made us question if she or someone else may have slept and ate in the bed before we arrived. The pillow had white crud on it that we tried to ignore and just flipped the pillow. The bed is old and sunk in which affected any sleep we were able to get. If you're paying with card you will have to pay 18% fee which is no a problem but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. You only get two bath towels so bring a wash towel or loofah if you chose to stay here. Overall, I would never stay here again and I have willingly stayed in some low quality places and hostels all around the world, but I draw the line on not being able to count on a clean bed and pillow where I lay my face. It's sad because the property is older but has a lot of charm to it.
