Mold in bathroom, water bugs in the room, Waiting for check in was hours, Everyday same food in buffet, in all restaurants you can make only 3 reservations per week, and when you go to make reservations most of restaurants are booked, unacceptable!! Food was not good and some of the dining furniture was old and damaged. Also the showers smelled very badly due to pipes. Some room furniture was stained. Staff friendliness needs to improve . The Dominican Republican experience has fallen off a lot from what it use to be. Service, hospitality, and quality of hotels are not what it use to be.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Bahia Turquesa. I accidentally left my baby’s formula milk at Las Dalias restaurant, and instead of holding it for me, the staff threw it away. This was very upsetting as I had to spend a significant amount of money to purchase another can while there. While a handful of staff members were helpful, the majority were not pleasant or welcoming, which made the stay less enjoyable. The resort itself also needs major improvements. The rooms are outdated, the fridge did not keep items cold, although the AC worked well. My family and I did our best to make the most of our stay, but overall, the service and facilities need serious updates.

An OK resort

Bahia principe was a nice resort, with nice shows for both adults and kids. The downside was their food, both buffet and especially their A la carte. Not much flavour and very salty.

The best part about this property is that it offered different entertainment and activities for all ages. However, the property is old and very outdated. I had to change rooms due to a lack of cleanliness. Although the property was big. I would not stay here again.

The staff is amazing, especially the guys at the pool. Special shout outs to Luis at the pool bar and papi Juan (el churasco) from the pool entertainment. They are all the best. The food and the show at night were excellent. I will definitely come back.

The outdoor pools were the best. Always a vibe, live music and activities for kids and for adults. The food in the pool buffet restaurant was average. The Italian and Hibachi speciality restaurant were good. EVERYONE is looking for a tip, ex., the housekeeper knocked on my door to see if I liked the way she cleaned the room and wanted to let me know someone else would be cleaning it the nx day etc., yes, I have her a $4 tip. If I go back to D.R., The front desk lady receptionist wasn’t the most welcoming, also the website said check-in is at 12 pm, (misleading) it is at 3pm. We had a leak in the bathroom for two days and was only offered to change the room on the last day of that of our stay after complaining once more. If I go back to D.R. again I will definitely be staying at another resort.
