The only problem we had was the shower not working properly. Water could not be balanced/ mixed properly in the shower or sinks. It was always boiling hot!.... Also they gave us no wash cloths for 2 days

Beautiful property which was kept clean by the great resort staff. Wish I had more time to spend because there were many options. Unfortunate I didn’t get my VIP benefit though but still a great experience overall.

Make sure you bring nonslip shoes because there are no rugs nor rubber mats to prevent you from slipping on their wet marble floors. I slipped and fell and broke my arm. I had to leave a day early. They didn’t refund any of my money for the day that I lost. They wouldn’t even comp my room service breakfast that I had to order due to not being able to walk down to the buffet with a broken arm.

The food quality was poor. Left over dinner items for breakfast. The only restaurant we liked was the sports bar and the meat. It would have been nice to know that you need to reserve for dinner a week before arriving The staff were excellent, always happy and singing out of the hundreds of staff only one person didn’t love their job The activities were not posted that I could see. However if we knew about the app that tells you about entertainment that would have been helpful

Be careful as 1. Employee Miguel offered me an upgrade BUT with the condition of going to the room with him alone to “see” it. When i refused by thanking him but I’ll be grateful with the room without going with him, he quickly said “oh is not longer available” when no one else next to me is taking a room at that time. 2. Employees will come to you and ask what kind of guy or women you like.. later I learned by another guest that they get paid to find women for guys. 3. A friend I made there told me that at the night club at the villa put something on a drink of another girl(she saw it) and when the girl got dizzy 2 guys were about to take her and she went with a friend to get the girl and call another employee who took them to her room. 4. Employees will ask you to get drinks and food for them (and they are very specific (this happened to me). 5. Also, they ask you to sign up while they know you have been drinking for the Dominican party (which is a fiasco) at the village (you have to pay $12 or $25) as you are happy for being drinking when you realized it next day and you call to cancel as you rather staying at the pool for example then it doesn’t matter if you don’t go they will charge you. 6. Red Bull $5, alkazerser $22, electric connector $12, a mug in between 29-49$ and is not Stanley. The buffet morning staff Amezing (Anderson, pastor, chino (Luis), Alexander, Joselina, Henry, Edwin.. Richard at the pool… I went to this trip after I went back in 1991.

When we got in, we saw an advertisement of 180 for a couple massage so they gave us a voucher of 160 but when we went to book, they changed the price on the massage to 280 per couple. Minus the 160 voucher. It doesn’t make sense. Why would they change the price on the massage?

The pool area had trash and food on the floor for days and the floor was extremely dangerous and slippery. The water in the bathroom sink and shower was scolding hot, and it took time to figure out how to keep it out of warm level but would be too cold.

The pool looked as described, the property though was in serious need of an upgrade. The pool needed to be cleaned thoroughly and the jacuzzi. The property looked better in pictures than it did in person. The layout of the hotel was not intuitive and we were surprised there were no elevators on the property. The hotel compound in theory makes sense, as a whole and in practice it does not. Staff were very friendly, the food was subpar and the drink variety was very below standard.

It was very warm and we ask them to turn up air conditioning. They only stock bar with beer soda and water. No liquor. The restaurants were all good and tge beach is a mess with sargassum sea weed

Food options are getting worse and usually we dont eat some meat. My wife is veggiterian but on buffets, the spoons all mixed up with different foods, standard items pizza, pasta, fries, there are not many options for those doesnt eat meat.
