Our stay at the Tiskita Jungle Lodge was very dreamlike. Laying in a hammock on the back porch of our lodge which overlooked the ocean while surrounded by the nature of the jungle with monkeys and toucans nearby. The meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner included with our stay) were out of this world delicious! Walks through the jungle towards the fruit farm and waterfall w/swim pools were quite scenic as well. I also highly recommend horseback riding from Tiskita Jungle Lodge to catch the sunset along the beach where the jungle meets the ocean. It is truly a “bucket list” to-do that you will most enjoy and remember forever.

An amazing place to visit.

We arrived to a very warm welcome from the family who owned the lodge. Our bags were taken to our cabin while we had lunch (all meals were included) and then we were shown to the cabin from where we had fantastic views of the Pacific. The lodge is situated in a beautiful jungle estate with walking trails which enabled us to see some amazing wildlife but it is only a five minute walk from the beach and there is excellent surfing nearby. There is a very knowledgeable guide available to take you on wildlife tours of the estate. Although it is in a remote part of Costa Rica (we went by plane and taxi), this was the highlight of our trip and we wished we could have stayed longer. It is not a five star hotel but it is a five star experience and we certainly hope to go back.

Beautiful getaway to paradise

If you are a bird watcher and/or love wild unspoiled places next to the beach, you won't find a better place to stay. The care you will be given makes you feel like part of their family. Their intention is preservation of the rainforest and wildlife and they do everything they can to help you appreciate it.

Wunderbares PlĂ€tzchen in unberĂŒhrter Natur

Geborgen in gepflegtem Zimmer und doch inmitten der Natur, offenes Badzimmer, grosse Terrasse mit HĂ€ngematten, StĂŒhlen, Tisch mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf Urwald und Meer. Köstliche lokale Speisen im Restaurant in familiĂ€rer Ambiance mit freundlichen Mitarbeitenden. Super Yogadeck, hervorragende Massagen von Nancy. 5 Min. zu Fuss Schildkrötenschutzprojekt. Wir durften miterleben wie frisch geschlĂŒpfte Babys ins Meer liefen. Super Ausritt mit Paulo und seinen Pferden durch Trails im Urwald der Lodge mit vielen Tierbeobachtungen, dann im Galopp dem Strand entlang zurĂŒck - fantastisch. Wunderbare SpaziergĂ€nge am fast menschenleeren, kilometerlangen puderfeinen schwarzen breiten naturbelassenen, sehr sauberen, von Palmen gesĂ€umten Sandstrand. Ruhe, Tierwelt, ĂŒppige Vegetation mit uralten riesigen BĂ€umen, feuchtheisses Klima und sehr warmes Meer beeindruckten uns sehr. Mit gemietetem Quad (ATV) erkundeten wir selbststĂ€ndig die Umgebung und entferntere StrĂ€nde. Das war mega Fun. Gebiet ist ungefĂ€hrlich und Leute waren ĂŒberall sehr nett. Dieser Aufenthalt schenkte uns viele unvergessliche Erlebnisse. Gerne möchten wir fĂŒr einen Yoga Retreat wieder kommen. Lodge kann mit 6-plĂ€tzigem Privatflugzeug vom Flughafen San JosĂ© in kurzer Zeit erreicht werden. Landepiste ganz nahe. Buchbar direkt ĂŒber Tiskita Jungle Lodge. Auch mit Bus von San JosĂ© ĂŒber Golfito erreichbar.

Lugar, equipe e instalaçÔes fantåsticas!!!

InstalaçÔes fantåsticas, apesar de provavelmente não agradar a todos, pois não hå TV e ar condicionado. O contato com a natureza é massivo, tanto no banheiro (aberto para a natureza) quanto para dormir com milhÔes de grilos durante a noite. Os proprietårios recebem a todos como parte da família e este é um diferencial importantíssimo.

Tolle Trails im HotelgelÀnde

Tolle Wanderungen im eigenen GelĂ€nde auf Ă€ußerst gepflegten Wegen möglich, auf einem Rundgang Zwei-und Dreizehenfaultier gesichtet. Auch der Frischwasserpool mit Wasserfall ist ein Erlebnis. Die Inhaber schaffen eine Ă€ußerst angenehme AtmosphĂ€re und der tĂ€gliche Sonnenuntergang, den man von der eigenen Terrasse genießen kann, macht einem den Abschied wirklich schwer. Die etwas lĂ€ngere Anreise hat sich auf alle FĂ€lle gelohnt.
