Shell Cottage is a lovely cottage, perfect location to base yourself for touring the far north, and right beside the 4Square, takeaways, pub...Very clean, well set up with all you need...Quick comms with the manager/owner when I msgd them (via book a bach app) after too. Definitely recommended- we will stay again if we ever stay up this way again

Great location to explore the top end of Northland as easy access to the Cape, the dunes, ninety mile beach and the gumdigger park without having a super long day. Everything was seamless from checkin to checkout, was well appointed and comfortable, and a location with easy access to a cafe/bar and grocery store until 8pm. Shell Cottage could easily be called home for more than the one night we had time for.

My stay was perfect, the house has a very warm and homely feel to it, which made it quite comfortable and relaxing. The location was also very acessable and easy find. Very nice accomodation

Great location, close to Cape Reinga an 90 miles beach. Café and supermarket just around the corner, lots of space, close to the harbour and other swimming spots.
