The place was more run down than expected and felt closer to a motel than a hotel stay. One major issue was the bathroom setup — there was no shower curtain separating the shower from the toilet, so water got all over the toilet and floor every time the shower was used.
The staff was very nice, and Scott was especially responsive, offered helpful suggestions, and did his best to accommodate our needs, which was appreciated. However, the cost was still very high at $718 for four nights. I assume the pricing was due to the holidays, but it felt expensive for the condition and overall experience.
The property is surrounded by trees, which was nice, but the drive up was initially intimidating, though it became easier after a couple of days.
