We spent alot of time around the pool as it was so nice as was the property in general.Didn't go out on the street much but the resort has good isolation from the street scene. Preffered the pool to the beach.

This place was perfect for my family (adult children). Lots of wild life on the resort. The beautiful breakfast buffet was delicious. Staff at the desk was friendly and helpful. Rustic Jungle vibes in gorgeous setting. Many nights ended with a swim at the pool. Excellent base camp for Manzanillo, Cahuita, Uva, and of course Puerto Viejo. It is true about water pressure or lack there of, and some of the finishes in buildings and bungalows show their age, it manages still to keep it's charm. We will be back.

We stayed 3 nights. We liked that it was directly in front of beach. Nice free breakfast. Salt water pool was so nice. The staff were great. They always checked in to ensure guests were happy and had what they needed. My bad for not thinking that it is in the jungle. We saw a snake at the pool (little and not a threat), resident howler monkeys woke us at 5 am every morning (again part of nature) and sloths!! Dining options around hotel are limited however you can take a tuktuk into puerto Viejo for more dining options.

Front desk...Naidelin... Very friendly and helpful, so sweet...Dexon... Bartender and waiter... He went above and beyond! Deyver also helped us out so much! The only thing I wasn't happy with is when it's all inclusive , you pay for it... It does not include everything it's limited! The resort is beautiful.The animals are plentiful... and so cool... Keep an eye out for the colorfull poisonous frogs! Beautiful... Food and drink are really good also... It's nice that they have the separate pools... Atmosphere is authentic & amazing! Room was very nice also! I could go on and on , but i've said enough! We definitely would like to return. Everyone was pretty awesome!

Jungle and beach right there

The hotel area is great since you basically live in a jungle with tropical plants and animals everywhere. The pool is nice, clean and warm water. The AC was a necessity since it's really hot and humid. The breakfast buffé was good. The beach is literally right outside the hotel area.
