I stayed at the resort for four days, and from the moment I arrived I felt uneasy and regretted my decision. Unlike other areas of the Dominican Republic I’ve visited, this location was nerve‑wracking and unsettling. My room, situated in the main corridor, was constantly noisy with staff playing loud music, shouting, and being disruptive at odd hours. On the first day, I discovered a bloodstain on the bed cover and mattress that housekeeping never replaced, shelves crawling with ants, and a floor marked by a large spill that was never cleaned. Housekeeping did not sweep or mop, and only half‑heartedly made the bed, leaving me to shake out my own sheets. The walls showed multiple layers of paint covering mold, and construction in the adjacent room caused cracks in my walls, with debris left in the shared walkway that was never cleaned. The food was consistently terrible—burnt French toast, scorched eggs, rubbery pancakes, undercooked meat, and pasta so salty it was inedible. Even staff complained about their own food quarters. Drinks were watered down and tasted odd. On the beach, guests were relentlessly harassed by merchants returning repeatedly, making it feel more like a crowded market than a relaxing escape. To make matters worse, restaurants and activities listed on the app were unknown to staff, leaving guests confused. If I could have returned home on the first day without losing money, I would have.

the service was awesome, everyone was nice and helpful. The buffet was okay, the meats were mostly too salty and overcooked. Omelette station was great! Wish you had a heated whirlpool. We had a pleasant stay overall.

The rooms were very beat up, but staff was very understanding and proactive when there were issues with my AC. The food was ok at the buffet, I usually found some things I liked (pasta salads, pasta, fruit) but a lot of it was bland or a bit sweet where I would have expected savory. The food at the Mexican restaurant was downright BAD. The food at the Italian restaurant was better. The entertainment was interesting, they definitely try to appeal to a wide audience with lots of options. Overall had a ok/good time.

We got there @ night coz our flight was delayed. Room was very basic, which was fine, we can live with that. On our 2nd day, realized the toilet tank takes forever to fill up to flush, and our balcony door doesn't lock (we're on the ground floor farthest side of the pool from lobby). They took about an hour to fix the toilet, which led to the washroom being flooded & we had to wait to be cleaned, they never got to fixing the sliding door, figured it's fine since our valuables are inside the safe until they can fix it hopefully the following day since we had to get ready for dinner expedia has set up for us. To be fair it was raining pretty hard, but imagine our surprise when we came back to a fully flooded room as soon as you enter the hallway, all the way to the washroom & the rest of the room. I called to change rooms coz there's no way we're sleeping in that. Then someone came with a mop! That was insane! The concierge thinking a mop can fix about an inch deep of water. I have had to explain to the guy a mop will not fix the situation. About an hour after the 1st call, we finally got a room---after a number of follow ups, it didn't seem like it was a concern, not sure if it's because other rooms in the same building were also flooded. The resort has been around for a while & I'm sure this wasn't the first strong rain they've had. Even if the building we're in was the oldest there (seems like with the state of it) I feel like they should've had precautionary measures

The room was OK. The food was delicious. The staff was very hospitable but every time we would go into the dining area, we had difficulty getting a table that was already set for us to be able to eat When we first arrived, there were no towels and the phone was not working so we went to the front desk and let them know, two hours later we still have not gotten our towels, so my husband went back and told them, he had to literally get Housekeeping to give us towels. I might consider returning because the access to the beach was perfect and the pool was quite nice. The evening shows were well choreographed and we really enjoyed them. The drinks were watered down unless you got a good bartender

Check-in was fabulous, quick and friendly! The room was ok, a bit dated and limited amenities, like no coffee maker in the room. The food was ok, bread was excellent. We had 6 meals and only got offered beverages twice so the staff was a bit lacking. Others appeared to have better service. There is only one bar and smokers do not abide by the non smoking area, which is most of the bar so you are always inundated with cigarette and cigar smoke, which is unpleasant. A okay place for the price.

The food was absolutely horrible! The drink policy was whack not being able to have a mimosa wit breakfast & no bacon was horrible. Spa services were below par & performed wit door open is unheard of. Overall I will NEVER use ur facilities in this lifetime again.
