This is a large hotel, well run with basic rooms, well maintained, clean and well run. Breakfast (buffet) is large. The hotel is "family friendly", which means that some parents take leave of their parenting obligations and the hotel becomes noisy and loud, particularly at breakfast. The young staff running the front desk are helpful, well-trained, professional and smart.

Perfectly functional hotel for budget traveler looking for hotel amenities. And they stored bags (and did our laundry) which was helpful for our cycling trip around the lake. Restaurant was good. Easy to walk to town in a few minutes and some coffee/restaurant options within a block (NoSe was particularly tasty). The dings are that the hotel is tired and in need of some remodeling/updating. which made the small room a bit more uncomfortable. But for the price, worth it.

Outside of the hotel looks nice as does the lobby. The rooms, on the other hand, were left behind in the 1970’s. Don’t let the room photos fool you. They are small and in serious need of updating. And the carpet needed to be replaced many many years ago. Would also suggest getting some paint for the hallways and stairways. The staff were very nice.

The hotel duplicated the room charge - i paid for my staff through expedia and yet on arrival i was charged again. I discovered the duplicate and wrote to the hotel on 26th April. its now 30th April and i have not even gotten any acknowledgement. Totally unacceptable service.

Very good hotel and very close to the center. They also provided lunch boxes when we missed breakfast due to out early flight. Some areas at the hotel are only accessible by stairs but we managed.

We always come back as it is the best value for money option in the area. Great location, parking, views, service, breakfast. This time, the room we had was a bit small and in need f some extra furniture, but overall a nice stay.
