The hotel was fine, overall -- in a great location relative to the Riverwalk, convention center, arts center, Union Ave., etc. The room was clean and comfortable. Not very thick walls, however: I could hear speech in the hall and in the room next door. When I checked out, the receipt they gave me had the wrong credit card (someone else's), plus the amount shown was less than I had paid via Hotels.com for the two nights. They weren't able to clear this up before I had to go. Don't know where the mix-up occurred, whether it was Marriott or Hotel.com, but it's unnerving to think my credit card in turn might be attached to someone else's account.
