Compact and clean

This was a trip to the Cape that we hadn’t taken in over a decade. We are from the Midwest and are used to large, spacious hotel rooms. This hotel was accommodating and compact relative to what we are used to. But the beach atmosphere and how quiet it was and The breakfast and other accommodations were very nice.

We loved our first stay at Breakwater. We were pleased with the location. It was convenient to town and dining. The beds were very comfortable. Honestly, it was tough to leave in the morning. I could have spent the day in bed very easily. The view was wonderful. There was a musty smell in the room when we arrived, almost like cat urine, but after some time with the window open it dissipated. Overall, it was a very lovely stay and we look forawrd to returning.

Great place!

This was such a great little gem! The room was super clean and comfortable plus the patio furniture outside added to the comfort touch. The beach was right across the street too. Staff was very friendly. Overall a win win and i would def stay again.

Better Late Than Never

My wife and I have been coming to Ptown for our summer vacation for 17 years and have stayed at various hotels and B & B's up and down Commercial street but this was our first stay the Breakwater and it was surprisingly delightful! We loved the comfy outdoor patio furniture with a view of the ocean, access to the beach across the street, and being on right on the shuttle bus route to the center of town. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we can't wait to come back next year!
