The room was clean but judging from its condition, the rug was a challenge. The heat was always on. I was able to turn off the fan, but that element was always very warm even though it was in the off/less warm position. As a result of always being too warm, I opened the windows, which I was unable to close again using the crank. I had to draw it in manually until it caught the lock. Maintenance did close it for me once. When I checked in, the very nice and competent young woman was able to use my card, but there was another subsequent process that she was unable to complete without calling 2 different people. We were at the counter for over 20 minutes. The young man who managed the desk the following day, was very excitable, but was able to earn me a couple of discounts in the process of correcting my original reservation, which was incomplete, apparently. Give him a raise.

room was run down, bottom of doors were missing layers of wood, hallway every morning smelt of curry, carpets stained and very dark in room, no where near enough light, should be re fitted , especially calling itself a Ramada Hotel

They had circuit breaker problems the last night so no tv and only dim emergency lights in hallway. Also woke up to water dripping in the bathroom, went to check it out and part of the ceiling collapsed. This is the oldest part of the hotel so will give a pass but won’t stay in this part of the hotel again. I have stayed in other parts of this hotel with no issues except noisy neighbors.

Oh my word! The property description is NOT reflective of what we stayed in! I felt like I was in a crime scene with slimy things hanging from the ceiling. The bedding was awful and I dare not even walk barefoot and the chairs and sofa were disgusting, ratted and not to mention the entire place had long term living and reeked of herbs. ! 0stars
