Having to pay over $200 a night for one of the better rooms, the whole experience was subpar. The balcony is indoors hence keyword “atrium” The room was not clean at check in which was about an hour late. They were not very accommodating as we had to check in several times to see if the rooms were prepped. The extra effort from our end allowed us to receive the room as no communication was made from the employees. For the most part, the staff at the front desk was not pleasant and did not greet the guests. Unsure if it is due to the location, however, we have travelled to many Hyatt branches and this was yet the most unnerving. P.S. it would be considered a safety concern having those who handle our hot food preparations to NOT cough so freely and cover oneself. I’m leaving this establishment feeling no so well rested and undervalued. Never again.

Requested an early check in. Was told no rooms were ready and that they would text me when our room was ready. We were waiting and waiting. Finally at 3:45, I went back down to the desk to inquire about the room and was told that it’s been ready. I was never contacted and we wasted so much time waiting for the room when we could’ve been getting ready for a wedding. The lady at the desk told me that she just started her shift and doesn’t know what happened. But the whole process was extremely frustrating.

The Hyatt Regency is your best option for stays in Princeton when it comes to chain hotels. It is a short drive to the university, shopping, and walkable to businesses in the Carnegie Center. The grounds and immaculately kept and the restaurant always met my expectations

Very roomy with plenty of desk space and seating. Minifridge but no microwave. The temperature adjustment in the tub and shower was not working properly. We could get cold or very hot water but nothing in between. The breakfast buffet was worth the $7 per person upgrade.

They did not clean our room even though we asked them in the morning before we left the hotel. We returned in our room around 4pm and the room was not clean, so called the front desk and ask them to send someone for cleaning at 6pm. The confirmed that but later I found out that the cleaning service is offered until 17.30. So they couldn’t clean our room. The just gave us a couple of towels. Not staying this hotel ever again.
