Not recommended, rude front desk ladies.

I would not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for friendly service or a pleasant stay. The customer service was very disappointing. The front desk closed the restaurant 30 minutes before the posted hours because of a wedding, and when I called to see if the kitchen could still prepare something (well within their normal service time), the front desk lady was rude and dismissive. She said she “couldn’t communicate with them” — no effort to help, no alternative offered. The next morning, I asked if I could check out just 15 minutes late, and again the same front desk staff member was rude. Not even because she said no, but because of her tone and body language — unprofessional and unwelcoming. On top of that, the rooms smell old and humid, which makes the overall experience even worse. Definitely not a good place to stay if you want somewhere comfortable with friendly people.

We enjoyed our stay at the Chauncey Hotel which is located on a quiet beautiful property. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was absolutely excellent. We also found the staff were very friendly and helpful.
