Everything about the hotel was wonderful, except the check-in. The young man who came out to the front desk (after we rang a bell) was perhaps the least-friendly individual I’ve ever encountered in a position like this.
He did not greet us, simply said “Name”. Then “ID & credit card”. He then handed us keys, stated the room number & pointed us to the elevator. He looked maybe 20 yrs old, was wearing a torn, dirty hat (granted, in style but inappropriate for work). On the other occasions when we came and left through the lobby, he was nowhere to be seen.
We were meeting friends who were also staying at the hotel. They mentioned the sullen, unfriendly check-in as well.
This person should definitely not be working in this position in such a nice facility!
