Mariantonietta House: bright, colorful rooms with a view of the vast ocean

Casa Mariantonietta is a family-friendly residence ideal for couples who want to spend unforgettable days in one of the world’s most famous destinations—far from the excessive noise of crowded cities, yet right in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. Located a short distance from Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento, and Ravello, in a location from which you can easily take public or private transportation to reach the islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida, and just a short walk from grocery stores and shops selling household and personal care items, this home offers all the comforts you need for a relaxing and carefree vacation. You can enjoy the spacious terrace, furnished with a table and chairs, overlooking the vast blue horizon where the sky and sea merge until their boundaries become indistinguishable. In the morning, you can enjoy rejuvenating breakfasts at sunrise, and in the evening, relax over a candlelit dinner under the starry sky, surrounded by the intertwined sounds of unspoiled nature and the tranquil village life. The house features a spacious bedroom with a double bed, cotton sheets, and a 4-door wardrobe containing blankets, extra pillows, an iron, and hangers. Next is a large room with two sofas, one of which folds out to comfortably accommodate two additional guests. This sitting area is ideal for watching TV by the soft glow of a small lamp, reading a good book—provided for guests—in the cool evening air, or playing with the children using the toys available at the property. The hallway, which serves as the entrance to the apartment, connects the two previous rooms to the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom features a washing machine, a large corner shower, a bidet, a sink, and a toilet. We provide two rolls of toilet paper, bath linens (shower towel, face towel, and bidet towel), a full hand soap dispenser, and a single-use shower shampoo. There are clothes pins for hanging up laundry and a hair dryer. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking: utensils, pots and pans, plates, cutlery, dishes, wine glasses, and glass water and cocktail glasses. The induction cooktop allows you to cook all your meals quickly. There is a large oven, a refrigerator with a freezer (we hope you’ll appreciate the bottle of water we’ve left for you in the fridge), a kettle with various types of herbal teas to enjoy, and a toaster. Linens are also provided for this area: tablecloth, dish towels, and placemats. Both the bedroom and the living room are cooled and heated by units that can be operated independently according to your needs. All the furnishings are new, while the tiles and wall coverings reflect the classic, colorful hues typical of Vietri ceramics. In addition to the large terrace accessible from the bedroom, the living room has a small balcony, and the kitchen overlooks the home’s garden, which is accessed through the outdoor iron gate. A natural green oasis where you can sunbathe, enjoy the view while relaxing on the lounge chairs, or read a book provided on-site. In this area, which is primarily tourist-oriented, you’ll find the tranquility typical of a small town; children can freely go play in the church square below the house, where shows and other entertaining activities are often held—all of which can be enjoyed peacefully from the home’s terrace. Restaurants, pizzerias, bars, and a pharmacy are all within easy reach of the house—just a few minutes’ walk away. To get to the beach, you can take the local shuttle service, which runs very frequently from Piazza Antico Seggio (about 50 steps from the house), or walk through the village’s typical narrow streets.
