Allen was fantastic! Hotel was okay. We were put into a huge room in the older half of the building and it was a unique experience however we got there and there was used glasses and the phone wouldn’t work other than to call reception. There was a bathtub that we couldn’t get to drain so we had to call maintenance at 11pm to come to the room and fix it. In the morning we noticed there were ants all over the room and bed. Went to the reception and asked for a manager and there wasn’t one there. Had to wait a while for someone to check out and a new room to be cleaned for us to switch rooms. Second room had a nice view but smaller and the shower didn’t have a door so the tile floors were soaked and slippery afterwards. Had to ask a second time to speak to the manager because they didn’t come see us when they got there and were told it’s an old building and they are aware of the ant problem. Gave us a free drink and some points for Accor to make up for it. The information about the hotel they provide on the tv gives false/misleading information. We spent a lot of CAD on this hotel but not really worth it.

Building was older, typical of most older European hotels. However, it was very clean. Location is excellent for walking in Old Town and Castle Town. We had a river view room. Nice view but the view was accompanied by noise from traffic and people.

Lovely hotel, well positioned. Nice staff. Our room, whilst modern and spacious, had low beams and was at the top of a narrow staircase where it was very easy to bump your head. The bathroom was clean but the shower was very poor. No water pressure and hard to regulate the temperature.

Excellent service from the staff throughout my stay. I had a fall in the city but made my way back to the hotel and went to bed. The pain became more intense through the night and at around 5am I came to reception and asked for a suggestion for a suitable hospital. They suggested a hospital and called a taxi service to take me there. It was confirmed that I had broken two bones in my arm and a plaster cast was applied. The support received from the hotel staff for the remainder of my stay was excellent. I shall return to see those places I missed due to being incapcitated.

Very nice hotel , excellent and very friendly staff , they will do everything possible to make your trip as easy as possible! Amazing area around the hotel . Daily breakfast is delicious and fresh , rooms are clean . Hotel needs a little renovation though ( it’s outdated , visible signs of age, such as worn carpets, faded paint etc ) But I still do recommend this hotel
