Breakfast had very limited vegetarian options. Room faced the street and very noisy as trams trundled past. Room was cold. One of the days we had no hot water and reception just shrugged thier shoulders and said its a technical issue without any other information. Would not recommend this hotel.

We loved that it was old and a little worn but very clean. The breakfast was very good and lots of it. The coffee was also very good. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The price was just right for the location.

Second time stay here. The hotel left a very pleasant impression. Breakfast was good, and the service in the restaurant was excellent — the staff, especially the girls in the breakfast area, were very friendly. The reception speaks several languages and is always helpful. The location is convenient, the doors are open until late, and the concierge is always available. There is no air conditioning, but a fan is provided. We opened the windows to the inner courtyard, where it was quiet and not hot — very comfortable overall.

Positive experience

A very centrally based location. Walkable from station and close to historic sites. Really good choices for breakfast. The room was very clean Landing and stair carpets stained in places.
