Ideally located in the heart of the village of Pouilly, our 19th-century house—which has just been completely renovated—is a 3-star property offering a magnificent view of a vineyard against the backdrop of the Loire River and its islands… You’ll have a front-row seat to enjoy sunsets over the river. Ideal for two couples with two children or three couples, the apartment comfortably accommodates 6 people plus 1 baby in a peaceful setting along the Loire, 10 minutes from La Charité-sur-Loire, the “City of Books” and an UNESCO World Heritage Site; 30 minutes from Nevers; 45 minutes from the Magny-Cours racetrack; 40 minutes from the medieval castle under construction at Guédelon; and 2 hours from Paris. You can explore the Loire by bike (7 bikes available free of charge for both cottages, plus 2 children’s bikes); a nearby bike path will let you discover the untamed Loire in the peaceful setting of the nature reserve. After your bike ride, you can enjoy a glass of Pouilly-Fumé or Sancerre paired with a Crottin de Chavignol cheese. The Loire also offers canoeing—you can rent canoes near your vacation spot, either for 2 or 4 people, or during July and August, a guided trip in a 12-person rabaska canoe—an experience not to be missed (contact the tourist office—200 meters from the vacation rental—for trip dates). During a canoe trip down the Loire, you’ll discover the Loire’s islands and their inhabitants: beavers, terns, egrets, and more. Departures from La Charité-sur-Loire or Pouilly. Your upcoming accommodations: The first floor features a kitchen, dining room, living room, plus one bedroom with an adjoining bathroom, and is fully accessible for people with limited mobility. - The upper floor features two bedrooms—a large one with a 140-bed and a smaller one with two 90-beds—as well as a bathroom and a separate toilet. Each bedroom on this floor has a balcony overlooking the Loire River and the vineyards. The cottage has a total area of 122 m². The inner courtyard provides a secure place to park your car. A section of the courtyard allows you to enjoy the sun in the summer, along with patio furniture and a barbecue.
