**An Exceptional Positano Villa for Families**Villa Romito was an exceptional home for our family vacation. Beautifully renovated and conveniently located near Hotel Pasitea, the six-bedroom villa offered spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, spectacular views, and wonderful spaces to gather as a family.The villa spans three primary levels. The top floor includes the primary suite and two additional en-suite bedrooms—ideal for teens—all opening onto a connecting balcony with beautiful views. The main living level features a large kitchen, comfortable living room, and veranda with a retractable awning, perfect for alfresco dining, and also includes another large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The lower level includes a powder room and two adjoining bedrooms that work especially well for a family with younger children.The location suited our group, which ranged in age from 9 to 74. The town square and pedestrian-only beach area are about a 15–20-minute walk away. Although Positano’s vertical layout can present mobility challenges, we found the villa close enough to enjoy the restaurants, shops, and hotels, yet far enough away to escape the ferry crowds and heavy mid-August tourist traffic. Nearby Hotel Villa Gabrisa also offered affordable indoor and outdoor dining for breakfast and easy, almost “in-house” meals.Francesco was a gracious host, and we are grateful to his family for sharing their lovely vacation home. We would gladly return.
