Our stay was comfortable, however we did not like the design of the bathroom which had clear class from the bedroom so not privacy when using facilities. I would like to mention Danni M who went above and beyond when dealing with an issue we had with a taxi company.

After visiting a relative receiving end of life care at a local hospital, we booked a room at this hotel. Hoping for a good night's sleep.We had anything but that. Our room was on floor above the gym as we were about to discover. At 9.30pm with the Gym's music blaring I went to reception to ask when it would stop. 10pm I was told. What I wasn't told was that it would start again at 6.20am the next morning. I went down and complained again and was offered to move rooms - a pointless offer as we had already been woken up. Complained to the hotel who offered us a free stay - the irony ! Will never return !!!

The en-suite didn’t have anywhere to hang your bath towel or clothes. Consequently, after a shower the towels were wet and put on the floor after use. Unfortunately, I put a sign on the room door handle to ask for the room to be refreshed but that didn’t happen. When we returned the towels were still wet on the floor and no one had been inside. We could have recycled the towels for one extra night if there was a bath towel rack or peg. I’d like to add that all of the staff were excellent.

Clean room, bed was a great size and very comfortable. Shower was a lovely size and also liked the glass wall splitting the bedroom/ bathroom. walls were very thin and could hear a lot. The shower fan was like an airplane taking off in the room. No smart TV/ Netflix. No phone or mini fridge in the room. Couldn’t contact reception when needed to without going down. The staff were not very friendly or helpful in the hotel and the bar/ grill plus the prices in the bar/ grill were astronomical for what you got.
