Beautiful beach view from the rooftop deck. Please remember that this place opened in 1890. It is pretty nice but not as modern as recent builds. It is a beautiful retro hotel. No elevator and steep steps to rooms. Pool and location across from beach are perfect for families and nostalgia seekers like me.

We stayed in a beach front suite for the local half marathon. We were greeted with kindness. The room was clean with all amenities needed for an overnight. We had an amazing view of the beach and would definitely stay again

Don’t let the website fool you

The website made the rooms look much better than they were. Outdated, very step steps to get to the room. We left early but they would not give us a refund for the canceled night.

Walk to our room carpets were disgustingly dirty, old fashion looking door was nasty bad sign right off!! Walk in room smelt very moldy carpets were nasty again thick dust on fan, exhaust in bathroom and nasty air vent over stove, bed was just a little bit bigger than a twin sloped downward first night was hell. Couldn’t do this for 2 more nights manager was nice enough to reimburse us 2 nights back!!! Thank goodness I felt nasty staying there!!! Also parking was one block away was barely big enough for our truck and get out sideways without running out vehicle or anyone else’s!!!
