This hotel is pretty run down, carpets in rooms are thread bare in certain areas. Bed was uncomfortable, no shower cap in bathroom. Had to pay £5 for parking and the car park is very cramped around the back.

the room was nice, bathroom looked like it had recently been refurbished. A fair amount of dogs in the building, not not a nuisance. Location was a short cab away from gunwarf quay. Good value on hotels.com as when i tried to book an extra night they wanted to charge me double the price of hotels.com

Really pleasantly surprised by our stay at Holiday Inn. Was expecting budget, but was really nice. Easy locatltion from train station (6 mins in a taxi), easy walk to the Cathedral where we were visiting for an event. Staff were friendly, hotel was clean, tidy and modern. Had a drink in the bar; good selection, polite staff. Had breakfast jn the morning; variety of foods and drinks (even had decaf which is great). Would return ajd recommend

The room had debris on the floor and one of the beds had a few hairs in it. We told reception when we were on our way out and they were very apologetic and changed our room - it was an upgrade. The new room was clean and there were no hairs in the bed! Unfortunately there was no hot water in the morning. We paid for parking but there were no spaces in the carpark when we arrived, however the hotel gave us a permit to use on the road. The hotel was conveniently located for the quays and was about a 10 minute walk.
