Breakfast was quite basic re Continental options. No cheeses /meats /tomatoes etc. No croissants / pastries. Cooked foods very good / lovely & hot Room was not comfortable - single beds really narrow / too soft. Room too hot despite turning radiator off. Furniture a bit tatty and needing replaced (chest of drawers) Parking was ideal & close to room Staff service varied. I spoke to one lady re cocktail (very poor) and am still waiting on a response.

While our visit was cut short due to a storm, Uig Hotel was a perfect home base to explore Skye. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and the service was friendly and helpful. There isn’t a lot directly around the hotel but it’s a quick drive to Portree and the 5 minute drive to the Fairy Glen was perfect.

The hotel room was spacious and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant offered a great selection of food and the breakfast gave us a great start to the day! The hotel is ideally situated for catching the ferry to the islands or visiting the Fairy Glen or Old Man of Storr. Enjoyed a fantastic break.

Leave plenty of time to eat.

Comfortable hotel just out of town though quite a walk up a hill. Room was large and comfortable. Meals were slow in coming after ordering. The second morning we had a days travel ahead of us and thought we’d get to breakfast 10 minutes early but were not allowed to order until 8.00. We were told there was only 1 cook on but could see things were VERY slow so ended up only ordering scrambled eggs thinking it would be quick - still very slow.

Lovely stay on the coast

My partner and I had a great night at the Uig hotel on our tour of Scotland. They called ahead to make sure we were set for dinner, offered tons of great suggestions for exploring the area and was the best host I've interacted with in a while. Marie was great to work with! Would love to come here again and spend more time.
