Friendly staff, excellent service. Food was delicious. Robust breakfast menu and exactly what was need before a morning hike. Very close to all main points of interest on Skyr. Hope to be back some day.

A beautiful hotel and area. Cool hut rooms, small but cozy. The sauna and cold plunge is a nice addition to the experience. Our bathroom had a musty smell. They moved us to a different room. The onsite bar and restaurant was great. Nothing else around within walking distance.

We loved our stay here! The beds were comfortable, the property beautiful and the staff were top notch. We loved Imogen she was fantastic, she wanted to chat and engage with us, had great recommendations for things to see and do while on Skye. She was a great bartender, and was just really personable. The cabins are lovely, and don't let the gravel walks to your cabin scare you away from this one, they have a porter to help get the bags to the cabin. 10 out of 10 for Bracken hide.

Great place and experience. They need to get some stuff worked out. Staff communication and ability to teach staff. Long dark hair in shower which is neither me or husband. Things need to be fixed and sauna was dirty. Need a system in place for turning on, cleaning and grabbing towels and having them cleaned from Sauna . It's expensive therefore things need to be better . I'm rooting for them . It's a unique hotel with a lot to offer. It's a great place

We absolutely loved our stay! It’s such a unique and memorable place — more of an adventure destination than a typical hotel, which made it such a cool part of our trip. Considering the staffing challenges the Isle of Skye faces in general, the service was excellent. We knew what to expect, so the smaller rooms and short walks to the cabins weren’t an issue at all. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we’d definitely return!

Absolutely loved our visit to Bracken Hide hotel. The property is beautiful, the cabins are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was comfy. We were cozy and warm. Our stay included breakfast which was fantastic and we ate dinner both nights at the restaurant and the food was delicious. This was a great base for us as we explored the Isle of Skye. They had a couple of cute little sheep on the property and they were just hanging out by the cabin the first morning. Love this place and wish we could have stayed longer and yes definitely would come back!! Best hotel of our whole vacation.

The breakfast was great and the rooms besides small they were good but overall it was WAAAAY TOO EXPENSIVE for what is offered. Our little room was facing a construction side which totally broke the whole “exclusive and relaxing vibe”. It was actually very disappointing. Just because for almost $1000 for two nights i was expecting way more. Maybe I should have done more research about it.

This is a very unique hotel. Be warned….you have to walk along a gravel trail to your room from the parking lot. All in all I would stay here again. They are very efficient in transporting your bags at check in and check out. It would be nice if they had more staff driving a golf cart so older guests don’t have to walk to their rooms. They did transport 3 in our party when we checked in.

Absolutely gorgeous unique property. The staff are highly attentive and friendly. The rooms are top notch with amazing views. We stayed in the newer units and everything was as advertised, from heated floors to the cozy bedding, and towel heaters. The on site restaurant was excellent. My family and I ate there 2 nights in a row and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Bracken Hide hotel.

Bracken Hide Hotel.

The Bracken Hide hotel is one of the most unique hotels we have stayed at. The location was walking distance to Portree. The restaurant and bar had great views and staff very friendly and helpful. An area to improve is communication from the pods to the reception. After cleaning our room they did not leave us towels. We tried to contact the front desk by calling with iur cell phone around 9:00pm and no one answered. We had ti use the bath robe in our room to dry off after showering. The best part of the hotel is the privacy, but if it is raining it can be very challenging getting to and from the lobby and restaurant. The morning of check-out was a little challenging for us with rain. But we knew that going in.

Staff are incredibly nice and helpful! The breakfast that’s included is delicious and has lots of variety. Only a 20 min walk from Portree City Centre so the hotel isn’t too far out! I loved my little cabin and would stay here again.
