The perfect stay

This hotel is gorgeous and the staff were all amazing. The rooms were modern and well equipped and the size of the rooms will make you smile with excitement. Be sure to eat in the restaurant in the evening as the sun goes down overlooking the old city on the hill and the Marina!

Durchwegs angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, hilft bei Problemen und erfĂŒllt jeden Wunsch. Die Villa mit privatem Pool war sehr grosszĂŒgig gestaltet und ermöglichte eine Menge PrivatsphĂ€re. FrĂŒhstĂŒck eher teuer. Das Restaurant ist definitiv eine Empfehlung wert (auch fĂŒr Vegetarier).

TrÚs bel hÎtel avec un cadre trÚs agréable. Les chambre sont trÚs spacieuses et confortables. La propreté est au rendez vous. Cependant le service n'est pas a la hauteur d'un hÎtel cinq hÎtel. Ce qui aurait été acceptable dans un hÎtel 4 étoiles avec une chambre deux fois moins chÚre l'est moins ici. Un exemple simple : un voiturier récupÚre votre voiture obligatoirement à l'arrivée, quand vous voulez la récupérer le soir on vous donne les clefs et ont vous demande d'aller a la recherche de la voiture dans le parc de l'hÎtel (quand on a un rdv et qu'on a déjà du retard c'est ennuyeux). Une dame qui a oublié sa serviette de piscine dans la chambre et qui en demande une a l'accueil est prié de remonter chercher la sienne dans la chambre (qu'est ce que ça coûte de fournir une serviette suplementaire pour rendre service à cette cliente?)... Autre point négatif le restaurant. Je conseille plutÎt de sortir pour manger. Au final le séjour c'est globalement bien passé. Quelques discordance entre la qualité du service et le standing de l'hÎtel.

Une déception dans un cadre idyllique

Helpful staff d'entendre des bruits de tuyauterie qui viennent de chez nous lorsque l'on se douche. Un petit hĂŽtel sympathique avec des trĂšs grandes prĂ©tentions au niveau du standing. Malheureusement ça ne marche qu’une fois sur trois. L’hĂŽtel est dĂ©sertique en pleine haute saison. Connection WiFi pĂ©nible. La plage annoncĂ©e comme “petite” est en effet petite. Avec de l’eau trouble, une certaine odeur et une « profondeur » de 80cm. Le restaurant est ok, sans plus, alors que les prix sont aberrants. Nous avons pris deux chambres pour une semaine. Le matin dĂ©s 7 heures les personnes vivant au-dessus faisaient leur toilette et nous Ă©coutions l’eau s’écouler en cascade dans le coin de notre magnifique chambre Ă  800 euros la nuit. Suite Ă  deux e-mails, une proposition de changement pour une autre chambre de mĂȘme taille mais moins bien organisĂ©e ou une junior suite qui se situe juste au-dessous de la nĂŽtre (donc a les mĂȘmes tuyaux venant d’en haut), nous avons finalement reçu une nouvelle chambre et passions enfin nos 2 derniĂšres nuits confortablement. Mes trois Ă©toiles sont attribuĂ©es au design magnifique et au personnel fantastique. Tanja, son Ă©quipe de rĂ©ception ainsi que les jeunes hommes mĂ©ritent un 5/5!

Don Cesar Àr ett relativt nytt vÀlbelÀget hotell strax norr om Porto Vecchio. HÀrlig om givning vid vattnet och flera fina pooler. Bilen blir bra omhÀndertagen, Àven om vÀgen dit Àr lite dÄligt markerat. Bra reception med bra information och ledsagad till rummet, som var utmÀrkt och rymligt med bra badrum och fin terrass. Spa finns men vi anvÀnde det inte. Den stora besvikelsen var middagen, maten var bra, men servicen var verkligen dÄlig. Den var sÄ dÄlig att vi undrade om det var en utbildningsfrÄga? Frukosten hade liknande drag, men var bÀttre. Summering: vÀldigt fin och frÀsch anlÀggning med fina rum, men den dÄliga servicen förstÀrkte kÀnslan om brist pÄ vÀrde för pengarna. We were extremely impressed with every aspect of the Don Cesar and have never before encountered staff so friendly and eager to take care of its guests' every need. Just one minor disappointment - the main pool could have been warmer. And be aware that should you decide to walk into town, it's probably going to take you 30 minutes. Otherwise it's perfect.

Honteux pour un Ă©tablissement 5 Ă©toiles !

En effet pour notre premiĂšre nuit nous avons la dĂ©sagrĂ©able surprise de na pas avoir d'Ă©lectricitĂ© dans notre chambre de 23h Ă  5h du matin ! Ce qui signifie pas de lumiĂšre pour ma compagne qui fait de l'achluophobie (peur extrĂȘme du noir avec grosses crises d'angoisse), pas de tĂ©lĂ©phone pour contacter qui que ce soit, pas de climatisation dans un chambre Ă  plus de 30° et pour couronner le tout pas possibilitĂ© d'ouvrir les rideaux de la fenĂȘtre puisque eux aussi Ă©lectriques ! Nous voilĂ  donc Ă  attendre Ă  l'extĂ©rieur jusqu'au petit matin avec comme excuse "ne vous inquiĂ©tez pas nous allons informer la direction afin que vous soit fait un geste commercial." Et quel geste commercial ! puisque la veille de notre dĂ©part Ă©tait prĂ©sent sur le lit la facture de la chambre comportant non seulement toutes les nuits, mais de surcroit avec un solde Ă  rĂ©gler une nouvelle fois car "soit disant" expĂ©dia n'aurait pas pris en charge la chambre. Apres un coup de fil passĂ© depuis la rĂ©ception, Expedia confirme bien Ă  l'hĂŽtesse que tout est payĂ© et concernant notre nuit passĂ© dehors me direz vous ? et bien Mme M.A. C. responsable du Don cĂ©sar s'est dĂ©douanĂ© du problĂšme en nous prĂ©cisant que c'Ă©tait suite Ă  un client qui avait trop bu et que celui-ci avait dĂ©tĂ©riorĂ© une applique provoquant un court circuit, ce qui Ă©tait indĂ©pendant de sa volontĂ© et que donc nous ne pouvions pas avoir de la gratuitĂ© de la nuit passĂ© Ă  attendre ! Inadmissible pour un Ă©tablissement de cet ordre !
