Spotless room with all you could want- the towels and bedding was immaculate. The staff were very friendly and facilities were excellent. The pool, sauna and steam facilities were amazing. The location of the hotel was perfect- quiet and within walking distance to all the sights. We would recommend this to couples looking for all the trimmings- perfect!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but were let down slightly by some aspects. The sauna and steam room in the spa were not switched on until several hours after the 7am opening time. Although we mentioned this a number of times each day was the same. Which meant they couldn't be used before breakfast. Also lacking in the spa was anything to cater for wet costumes. No drier , not bags. Slippers were hard to find. The bedroom had virtually no hooks for towels or wet clothes and too little room for clothing.

amazing location. gorgeous rooms. clean! nice staff. was especially nice when we left on our last day and were heading on a road trip to the Algarve, the breakfast host provided us boxes to take snacks from the buffet on the road with us.

There were many healthy options, but alos a great range of traditional European breakfast items as well. The pool was long enough for water exercises and lap swimming, which is rare but important to me and my wife.

We loved this boutique hotel. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were very quiet, clean, spacious and attractive. We enjoyed the rooftop bar with great views of the city. Bedroom has zero drawer space so living out of a suitcase is stressful. There are fake drawers by bed side and a glass table. Not functional despite all these exhorts to make the room eco friendly.

Breakfast in the room is great with lots of choices. Room is clean and spacious. Fyi bathroom and shower is made out of glass so no privacy. But the best part was the spa service, with great staff and lots of options to choose from. I really enjoyed the spa service.

The staff was friendly, courteous & helpful throughout our stay. We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival. Our double superior room with a balcony was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The balcony was large, but the view could’ve been better. The placement of the glass shower within the room’s living space, rather than the bathroom, was somewhat odd to us and could be uncomfortable depending upon one’s travel companion and the lack of privacy, but we got used to it. The location of the hotel was great! Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay at one of the Wine & Books properties again based upon our recent experience.

The loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff were outstanding from Anna who checked us in and escorted us to our beautiful room to Camilla who checked us out and emailed me about their fabulous bedding. Little touches like the chocolates in your room and location of the hotel turned a great stay into a phenomenal stay.

Everything was wonderful from checking in, port upon arrival, the room was very clean but the carpet is white and had lots of stains. Needs updated. Breakfast was fabulous. All staff in there were so nice and accommodating. We did have drinks a couple of times at the rooftop bar and did eat there once. Gorgeous view from there. The staff were excellent but slow at times. It was busy so maybe need more staff up there. It is very centrally located to everything. Would definetly stay again.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, well appointed and in a great location. The staff is very good and helpful - they spent some time taking us to the room and explaining all of the automated features in the room. That said, we couldn't get over the design of the room with clear glass shower facing the beds and the non-opaque glass door on the toilet room. There is NO privacy. When one person used the bathroom in the middle of the night, the only option is to turn on a light, waking the other person and then they are sitting in an illuminated room, using the toilet. The rooms are small and I understand the need to fit things into the space, but they could have perhaps used frosted glass on the shower and a solid door on the toilet room. Not everyone is traveling with a person with which they are all that intimate. The spa is nice and I used the steam room but was surprised that they had no shampoo or other products for the showers.

The Hotel was excellent. Staff was super helpful and the Spa was very nice . my only criticism is that the rooms don’t have a lot of room to move around and drawers . We went for 7 nights and had to pretty much live out of the suitcases but other than that this hotel was super .
