Staff during check-in was not warm or welcoming. I asked for a room with a view and they said I didn't book a room with a view. I was unable to find that option when I booked, which I explained. They had some side chatter and then placed me in a room basically in the corner of the hotel. There was no warm inviting welcome to the property. There was also a hard check in time which other hotels are more open to accommodating. But I also understand I arrived at 10am, which is pretty early. I do wish there were more options for room service late night. There's no option for food after 10 or 11. I also had read in the description that access to the pool patio was still open even thought the pool was closed for the season, but this was not the case. This is indeed a beautiful property. The bar and its staff were particularly friendly. I was unable to use the restaurant due to events on 2 of the nights I was there which was an inconvenience, but I walked into town and found something. I love the many different areas to sit throughout the property and take in the view. The room itself was cozy and I appreciated control over the temperature. Location was perfect. I would highly recommend this property. I would love to visit during the summer.
