I stayed at this hotel for my birthday last week and enjoyed my time there. The only issue that I had with the hotel was the spotty Wi-Fi. It was great in the lobby but in my room, it would disconnect frequently.

The Log is a beautiful high quality hotel.

Excellent breakfast with a wide range of high quality options. Staff extremely helpful. Beautiful bar area with very friendly staff. Hotel room was well decorated and very comfortable. It is quite a way from the City centre but Uber was very quick and cheap. The metro was also only a 10 minute walk away. The hotel had car parking so if coming by car would recommend this high quality hotel. Only minus was check out as it took 15 minutes in the queue. Perhaps you could have an express checkout for those with no bills to pay.

Brand new design hotel near the Porto FC stadium and inner ring road. Cheap and fast taxi rides ( or subway) into the historic centre make it a cost effective location for staying in Porto, plus there is a area 5 min walk with plenty of good local cafes and restaurants. Enjoyed it so much we stayed a second time on our Portugese trip, the rooms are very comfortable, and brilliant bathrooms, plus great complimentary breakfast. Only change would be to lower the bar/reception lighting levels at night to make it more conducive to a nightcap. It’s very bright!

Hotel incroyable pratiquement tout en bois a l'intérieur et presque neuf de toute beauté Service impeccable. Tres beau et bon resto Et buffet chaud pour le déjeuner inclus Stationnement intérieur disponible tout neuf Éventuellement il y aura 6 chargeur pour auto mais aucun pour le moment. Cette hotel en vaut le détour. Je la recommande fortement vous ne serai pas déçu.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel. Interior and room was lovely. All still smelling new and woody. Buses to centre nearby or metro a 12 minute walk. Very cheap, best to buy single multiple titles. Staff at desk friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and staff were friendly and efficient. Some moany bits, shower kept going boiling hot, room could have done with a bin for waste. There was only 1 small bin under sink. We bagged up our rubbish and it was never taken by housekeeping! Overall though a great hotel and supermarket and local cafes nearby off the main road at top, a 5 minute walk passed McDonald's on your right. .
