The room itself was very nice. A fairly small washroom. Breakfast was unfortunately running low. Every time I went so I was not able to fully indulge. I was not allowed to check in until after 3 PM. It seems like a very strict policy, even if the room is ready. I watched couples before, and after me receive water and a pastry upon arrival which was not offered to me unfortunately. Because I arrived one hour early, I left my luggage at the hotel and they nicely brought it up to the room, waiting for me when I arrived. It is a great location. It seems like more of a four-star hotel versus a five in my opinion.

This is a great location in Porto. You can walk everywhere. The hotel is safe, clean, & friendly staff. The only issue we had was no hot water the morning of our departure, so cold shower before we left. I told the people about it and it was corrected when we left. But I would still stay there again .

Loved our stay at the Editory. The staff were very kind and friendly. They greeted us immediately upon arrival. Our room was perfect. Immaculate property. Was very clean. The location was fantastic as well. We were within walking distance to all the major downtown attractions and had a subway stop right outside the door.

Great stay.

The hotel is an amazing oasis of tranquility in the heart of Porto. A small quiet 5star boutique style hotel. A fantastic stay except breakfast was underwhelming and staff not at all attentive which was a bit disappointing considering everything else was superb. Trays weren't cleaned off yet staff standing around. No explanation hot freshly cooked options were available. My sister who is celiac was treated like a leper... I did push for a cooked breakfast and was met with a very accomplished eggs Benedict. My sister had an incredible omelette and mom had poached eggs. No refill of coffee offered and while food was lovely staff walked around like zombies. Sorry guys, you work in hospitality and there are plenty of staff!

The hotel was nice. But certainly do not understand the "exceptional" rating. The bar had no beer and the pool was no bigger than a paddling pool. Rooms were pretty but not spacious.

Hotel is perfectly situated to benefit from local attractions with a metro station close by. Hotel was very quiet and all air conditioned so nice and cool of a day and evening. Staff are excellent and cater for your needs, special mention to Laianna the chef who catered specially for all my allergens. The hotel is exquisite, rooms are very good and all soundproofed. A brilliant place so thankyou.
