The location is excellent. The hotel itself is lovely. The front desk staff are friendly and very helpful. Our corner room was very nice with a sitting room and windows that opened onto the square. The hotel is in a good location within walking distance to many historic places, restaurants, and train station. The restaurant right next door is lively. The room was well equipped, clean, and there was a small balcony to sit outside with drinks. Our room didn't have the roadside view.

This was a great location and a very nice hotel. We liked the walkable street with all the sidewalk cafes and live music outside our balcony. Very easy distance to walk down to the Ribeira area on the waterfront.
