Beautiful hotel, a little out of the way, but there is a free shuttle twice a day to their other property at the foot of Luis Bridge, book early as space is limited. The breakfast is amazing!

This is a quirky hotel, the main building is a 17th C palace with the accommodation in the neighbouring building. Good prices, good breakfast. The bar was very slow to take any drinks orders although it was the Portugal World Cup game. The worst aspect was the very noisy air conditioning unit for the whole building at ground level, behind a wall, but for all rooms above ground level it was noisy 24/7.
