I had a great stay at this property. The space was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with the host was prompt and helpful throughout. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful—perfect for relaxing after a long day. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would be happy to stay here again in the future.

My stay was honestly good. The staff was super patient — they only communicated in Portuguese, but this was never an issue (thank God for technology!). They were always quick to help and responded to concerns efficiently. The room itself was suitable for me, the AC was nice to combat the summer heat. The pillows were slightly hard but it didn’t sour my experience. The location was also good, i easily walked to most of my preferred sightseeing spots. My main/only issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom. I simply think this was because of differences in cleanliness standards. Some parts of the wall were covered in yellow stuff, there was caked on dust/grime on certain things & the floors felt a bit sticky. I did complain about and asked for a deep clean of the bathroom and while someone came to check and “clean” it, its condition remained the same. I ended up using Lysol to wipe some of the areas and choosing peace lol. So my only issue was the level of cleanliness of the bathroom but all in all, good experience, nice staff!

The room itself was what we were looking for. Although it was a third-floor walkup, we were able to make it OK. Initial concerns about lack of car parking in the immediate area--as our initial "find" was on a sidewalk--is more related to our unfamiliarity with Portuguese culture than anything else; but they did offer--and we took--a space in a private, gated yard for an additionial 10 Euros.
