Great location and hotel!

We loved this hotel and it's location by the water! It was lovely to stroll by the water and take in the sites of the bridges and look up into the town in the evening. Although most of the tours an activities we did while in Porto were uphill starts, we gave ourselves time to walk and enjoy the hidden streets of the town along the way. We loved walking back to the hotel downhill and being back near the water. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful with all of our needs and questions!

The main asset to this hotel are the staff. They make your stay. They are extremely friendly, relax and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are very attentive. The hotel could do with some minor improvements like the shower door in our room didn't connect together and there is very little space to put your clothes (and even when there is they are on show). Really good location and loved the little touches like a welcome drink and leaving your suitcases secure on your last day.
