Everything was great except for the breakfast room. The sun was bright, pouring into the room with few blinds. It was hard to enjoy breakfast with the sun shining into your face . The last day we realized we could have had our breakfast in the bar area, there were a lot of tables and a German couple was in there in the shade . The roof top bar get crowded but has a great bar tender, he made me a Little Havana Sangria.

Breakfast buffet the best experienced outside of Asia. Our room was spacious and quiet. Love the convenience. Very walkable to Ribeira Square with lots of restaurant options and activities. Staff was very friendly.

Hotel was disappointing. Very small room with scuffed up walls. Our river view on the fourth floor was a concrete wall you needed to peer over. Bed not very comfortable and water not provided. Have to buy water or get it from the bathroom sink. No coffee maker in room, only a kettle, and most days the tea or instant coffee was not replenished. Location not great- nothing around the hotel if you need to grab a coffee or snack.

The hotel is right on the river, excellent views. Our room was very small but clean, adequate and had a balcony. Easy to walk to many restaurants and shopping within minutes. Absolutely beautiful city. The crowds however were intense with tourists, us being also tourists. Walking tours during peaks times are not ideal. Way too many on the tours to take anything in. Self walking tours much better.
