This apartment gives you the classic picture postcard view of Porto from your own kitchen window. You can also watch all the river traffic, and, from the opposite direction, take in the activity on the promenade where the famous port wine cellars are located. Word of caution: this apartment requires climbing (and hauling your luggage) up & down two flights of very steep stairs. If climbing or balance is an issue than, sadly, this apartment is not for you. If you notify the landlord in advance, he provides a free pass, with in-and-out priviledges, to a nearby parking lot. The walk across the bridge to Porto itself take about 10 minutes (driving in Porto is best avoided due to narrow, steep streets & lack of parking). There are no grocery stores nearby, but the large department/grocery store, El Corte Ingles, has free shuttle just steps from the apartment - it's a great store in which to shop. The bedroom/living room is large and very pleasant. The small separate kitchen is modern and equipped for simple meals but not for more serious cooking. The landlord has automated check in so you do not risk losing time waiting for someone to arrive, and you are not pinned down to a specific time of arrival.
