We had a great experience at the d'Alma. The room was comfortable and having the balcony was so nice. The location was perfect for walking to local sights, shopping, and restaurants. The best part was the wonderful staff. Every member was so friendly and helpful. We would recommend the d'Alma without hesitation to anyone traveling to Porto.

The room itself is quite nice and new. The air conditioning is non-existant. It just doesn’t cool the room down and no fan speed. The thermostat is merely a decoration. You can’t open the doors due to the dust and noise next door. There is so much construction happening next door that the balcony was unusable. Construction starts by 7:30ish and doesn’t end till almost 6pm. This project is just in its infancy. The staff say it will be done by the end of the year. NFC! Beware, if your looking for a nap in the afternoon, it won’t happen. Breakfast is small but quite good. The hotel itself is spotless and the staff are very nice. The bed is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the work happening next door ruined our experience. Sorry, I can’t recommend this hotel.

It was in a great location. Noisy but its part of being right in the middle of everything so its expected. They said I could check in early potentially when messaged but when I got to the hotel, they then said it was against their policy.

My partner and I stayed at the d’Alma for 4 days and it was the perfect hotel for us! We stayed in one of the suites and had access to the elevator, a kitchenette and plenty of living space. The hotel was quiet, very clean and well decorated. It’s in the perfect location to walk around Porto and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Mafalda was there every night we got back and was so kind and welcoming upon our return! We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Porto!

Great hotel and staff. Hotel has a front and a back part. The back part does not have a lift/elevator we were on the third floor 62 steps . Not fun to walk up I wish I knew before. Rooms were big and modern. Water pressure was great. Close to everything.
