This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Porto, and an easy walking distance to all the major sights. Check-in was a breeze, the staff were incredibly accommodating, and the room was spotless and exactly as described. Valentina’s, the hotel restaurant, serves fantastic pasta and has some of the friendliest servers I met on the trip. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto.

Good but was better 12m ago. The coffee at breakfast is pretty bad out of the machine (top tip if you want an americano, don't press americano because that's instant coffee and awful, hit 2x espresso then fill with water then it's bean 2 cup). Great location and lovely staff, but missed the little treats from 12m ago.

The room was comfortable and everything worked. The shower deserves a special mention as it was great! There was really nothing to see in terms of views. The city facing room looked out onto a busy street bar. There was some noise but keep the windows shut and air con on and all is good We had such great service from the team at Chic and Basic Gravity. Nuno in particular gave us good advice and helped make our stay really fun.

Chic & basic was awesome. It was in the perfect location. We could stop by the room anytime because it was close to everything we were interested in. The beds were comfy, the breakfast was super convenient with lots of variety, and the internet access was great. We hung out at the bar across the street one night and had a blast and met some new friends. We even met anniversary twins at the bar (we were married the same day and same year). We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Porto!
