Great location! We walked to the Jardim Morro, across the bridge and to Porto, but the team runs right by as well. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. We did end up parking in the underground garage on our second night. I would recommend if you want to park there to contact the hotel first so they can tell you how to enter.

Armed with a map from the wonderful gentleman behind the desk, parking instructions, and the train routes which happened to be right across the street from this hotel, we were off. This property is right across from a huge shopping mall and a few steps away from Porto. So enchanted with this area that we went quite a few times on the train, then walked downhill to the wine spot “WOW”

Loved staying in Villa de Gaia. The metro station was just outside the hotel so it was very convinie t. Restaurants near by were good ans very friendly. The hotel was calm and offered free coffee all day. Would def book again if we go back to Porto
