The Space:
This second-floor apartment sits right by the Hawthorne corridor, with restaurants, cafes, vintage shops, and transit close by.
Inside, the layout is simple and functional: two queen bedrooms, one full bathroom, an open living/dining area, a Smart TV, fast WiFi, and an in-unit washer/dryer.
The kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, toaster, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and basics for meals at home.
Cooling and primary heat come from a mini-split in the living room, with cadet heat as backup. The bedrooms do not have individual AC units, so airflow can be less direct with bedroom doors closed.
This apartment faces Hawthorne and sits near surrounding parking lots/commercial activity, so city noise and late-night activity outside can be audible. Light sleepers may want earplugs or white noise.
Guest Access:
The entire apartment is yours - no shared interior spaces.
🔑 Self check-in with smart lock - arrive on your schedule
🧺 In-unit washer & dryer
📶 High-speed Wi-Fi throughout

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is already set up. If anything comes up, we're a quick message away.
The Neighborhood:
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors, with no chain restaurants in sight! Make new friends over vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, indulge in delicious wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or enjoy a fancy night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch.
Getting Around:
🚶 Walking — This neighborhood sits between the Division and Hawthorne corridors, two of Portland's best streets for dining and shopping — both within easy walking distance.
🚌 Bus — TriMet Route 2 (Division) and Route 75 (Cesar Chavez) provide frequent service to downtown (~15 min).
🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share stations nearby. Portland's bike lane network makes cycling easy and safe.
🚗 Driving — Free street parking available (read signs for restrictions). Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) typically arrives in under 5 minutes.
✈️ Airport — PDX is about 16 minutes by car or a quick MAX + bus connection.
Other Things to Note:
This is a second-floor apartment facing Hawthorne Blvd in a busy, walkable commercial area. City noise, traffic, nearby parking-lot activity, and people outside can be audible, especially at night; light sleepers may want earplugs or white noise.
Parking is free street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. The nearby parking lots are not guest parking.
Cooling is from the living-room mini-split, with cadet heat as backup. Bedrooms do not have individual AC units, so airflow can be less direct with doors closed.
