This is my new favorite budget hotel in Portland. Right in downtown, walking distance from businesses, coffee shops, restaurants, Portland State U. The area has its homeless but I didn't feel unsafe at night. On-Site parking included - so useful! Tiled bathroom with curved shower curtain rod was a nice bonus. Nicole at reception was fantastic - professional, courteous, she helped resolve a small detail effortlessly. Some rooms are close to tram tracks so ask if you need absolute quiet at night. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Parking is absolutely limited and complicated. Very tight spots and hard to get into. But it's free and we were able to get one of the spots each of our five nights. Water pressure was good, rooms were clean, bed was comfy, and overall a good stay. Right by the tram stop and that was kinda loud but we travel with a sound machine and couldn't hear it over that.

It is a basic motel but in close proximity to downtown. The bar connected to the motel had very good pizza and the bartender was awesome. Hotel staff were incredibly nice as well. We had a parking spot at the property. There are not many places to dine nearby and the area is flooded with homeless people. The motel and room reaked of cigarette smoke. The price was right so I booked it. Cheap and zero frills about it. Don’t go here if you have high expectations as you will be severely disappointed.
