The elevators seemed quite shaky and the doors squeaked very loudly. Our room also didn't have an actual curtain there was only a sheer one to cover the big window but it's not enough to block out the sunlight in the morning. We also didn't have trash bags in the trash cans.

The room had some issues, the toilet handle was broken, it was replaced very quickly though (within 10 minutes of calling). After I noticed some questionable spots on the toilet seat and outside of the bowl, not sure if it was there before the maintenance guy worked on the handle... I believe it was. The trash can was dirty, empty but dirty (I know it's a trash can but use liners) and cracked. The ottoman had a tear in it. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.The staff was very nice. The buffet breakfast was average.

I just had my fingers crossed with my ice pail in my hand. A notch not a major problem, there was no ice in the ice machines floors three and five on the seventh, ice. The staff here has been great! As an Americana traveler from youth a right of passage my first time in Maine. I stayed at The Double Tree outside of Boston last night! The lobster salad and lobster roll were rich healthy and enjoyable. The brownie was delightful! The staff was great front desk shuttle driver and waitress! A fun story to tell Hilton employees is how I and Paris Hilton have twice met!

We love this place!

This continues to be our family's favorite hotel in Portland. Friendly staff, great accommodations, and always a warm atmosphere. Rooms are always very clean, and beds are so comfy. We will be back soon!
