Nice people, but hotel needs some work.

The staff was very nice. The room was not great. Cobwebs everywhere. Walls looked like something had been spilled on them and were never wiped down. No accessible outlets by the beds. The sheets were barely on the beds. The ironing board was broken and fell on my foot when I tried to use it. The smoke detector was just hanging from the ceiling. The hotel could be nice with a few updates, but honestly we got what we paid for since it was very affordable.

The area between tile and carpet was ripped up. The room smelled incredibly musty and moldy. The jet tub had brown spots on the jet where you could tell it was extremely dirty.

The smell of the hotel was overwhelming - I'm not sure if it was the cleaner or what. The room smelled too the point it made our luggage smell. Staff was nice but that was the only nice part of my two days staying here. Would not stay here again.

Older property in need of updating. Dirty walls and floors in lobby area. Dirty carpeting throughout. Peeling dirty wallpaper in hallways. Elevator door sticks. My room had a slight smell. Black mold above shower(I have a photo). Breakfast lady couldn’t keep up with refills and cleaning. Folks were constantly asking for items.

Horrible place, Do Not Stay here

1st the original room we got the toilet didn't work. I was handed a plunger by the staff and asked to plunge the toilet myself. Well that didn't work. Then it took a hour to change our room. The new room didn't have a remote for the tv. In the morning, the coffee was bad, I mean burnt bad. Also there were dried human fluids in the elevator (picture attached) that weren't there the night before. The only redeeming factor was the bed was comfortable.

There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling, the carpet was sticky. Bottom of bathtub was dirty like there was mold growing and it was bleached. The outdoor property was not kept up well and it looked like there were two cars that were abandoned as they both had flat tires. Seemed like it was more of a residential hotel than a travelers hotel. The AC did work well. beds did seem clean. The pool area was clean as well. The wallpaper in the hallways needs replacing as it was very dated and falling off in several different locations. 1 hour after starting breakfast service they were out of stuff. Had to remind staff to restock items even though they were standing near the food the whole time. Will not be staying here again or any other Baymonts.
