Lifeguards on the beach during peak season, and white baiting in the Waikato River (Aug-Nov). Fishing club nearby. The Nikau glowworm caves and café nearby is a must do adventure.

Beach holiday

Fantastic location with a great view and friendly feel. Felt like stepping back in time for a good, old fashioned beach holiday. Take your groceries with you and settle in for some relaxation. Only drawback was the thin, flat sponge mattresses in the kid’s room.
