Sunset House is a beautifully updated two-story Gulf-front residence offering flexible rental options upstairs, downstairs (see Sunset House Up & Down), or the entire home together—along with a private pool. Both levels were recently updated with new kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, dishwashers, and fresh paint throughout, creating a bright and welcoming coastal retreat.

Escape the hustle and bustle of traffic and crowds and enjoy the laid-back Florida lifestyle the way a vacation is meant to be. Sunset House features unobstructed Gulf views and is just steps from some of the most beautiful sugar-white sand beaches anywhere.

The home offers 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and 2 half baths.

Upstairs: One bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with two queen beds

Downstairs: One bedroom with a king-size bed and another with twin-over-queen bunk beds

Each level includes a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. A two-car garage is also available for guest use.

Entertainment options include a 65-inch flat-screen TV in the upstairs living room, a TV in the downstairs living room, and TVs in three of the bedrooms.

Relax outdoors on the screened porch downstairs, perfect for enjoying the Gulf breeze, or head upstairs to the spacious deck furnished with Adirondack chairs and a patio table ideal for soaking in spectacular sunset views over the water.

Both levels feature a fully equipped kitchen with an ice-maker refrigerator, stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and are fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, and utensils. Bed and bath linens are provided for your convenience.

Sunset House is a non-smoking property. Please restrict smoking to designated outdoor areas only.

There has been a lot of beach refurbishment since Oct 2018, including the sand dunes and sea oats, as well as new boardwalks and pathways. Mexico Beach is just as beautiful as ever! The beach is very safe for families. There is no undertow due to being sheltered by the St. Joseph Peninsula and an offshore sandbar. If you'd rather, relax around the pool which is surrounded by a privacy fence.

All bookings are on a first come first serve basis.

CANCELLATION POLICY: A cancellation fee of $200.00 will be charged if you cancel your reservation. Telephone the office as soon as possible in the event you must cancel, change dates or switch properties. Please note that if the reservation is cancelled within 45 days of arrival, we cannot refund your advanced rental payment. Once your reservation is confirmed, any cancellations/date or property changes will be subject to our cancellation policies. Sorry, no refunds for early departures. You may also use the advanced rental payment for a future booking and avoid the cancellation fee. Please call our office if you would like to make arrangements.
