The home is also within 10 minutes of Historic downtown Beaufort and Parris Island and thirty minutes to Hunting Island State Park beach!
The Nelson House is located within steps to the Cypress Wetlands walking trail, where you can enjoy a boardwalk stroll and abundant wildlife viewing!
When you are not out exploring, relax on the front porch and enjoy a glass of sweet tea or grill in your private backyard. The home has an open and bright floor plan with oversized bedrooms and cozy gas logs.

This is the second time we have stayed at this location for a week long stay. We truly love the layout and it's proximity to different places in Port Royal. Brad, the owner, is super nice. I would highly recommend renting this space.

We had a great stay here! Very nice setup, a real kitchen with dishware, cookware (so many places don't) AND Brad was very accommodating and responsive to our pet and trip needs. Having the wetlands next door and being able to see a fantastic rookery in full nesting action was over the top! Definitely coming back!

Our family had a great time at this home! The home has everything you need. The beds, bedding, and pillows were the best I've ever slept on at a VRBO. The house is also steps away from the rookery and we were able to hear the birds and walk to see them every morning and evening. We also really appreciated the state park pass and were able to go to Hunting Island and Hilton Head. Our family will definitely be looking to rent this home again for future trips!
