I’ve stayed here before and liked it so I booked again this trip and unfortunately it wasn’t as good of an experience. The first room we got had 2 roaches on the bed as soon as we walked in. The sweet lady at the front desk changed our room immediately and that one was clean and roach free. However the next day I called the front desk to exchange 2 of our towels that were wet for 2 dry ones and not only was the other lady at the front desk rude (acting like she was annoyed I was even asking) but they were going to charge us a fee just to exchange them? That’s wild. I’ve never been to a hotel that charged for switching linens. I clarified I wasn’t asking for new ones just to exchange and she says “yeah it doesn’t matter it’s still a fee” with so much attitude that I just said “nevermind” and hung up. So I wouldn’t say this stay was very great.

I checked in just after 4 o’clock and at 4:30 I went down to the front desk and asked if the Internet was having issues because I kept losing access. Front desk clerk said yeah, it doesn’t work very well when it rains. I did point out to her that is Central Florida and it rains a lot. I think they should’ve taken care of this. The first time they got a complaint.

Property was nice and staff was friendly, however I was surprised to have a $50 pet fee when the Expedia site indicated $5. I had expected a standard refundable deposit for any damage, but felt the fee was excessive. Had I known about the fee upfront, I would explored other options. I will know to call the property directly the next time I search or book through Expedia.

Tried to check in early, they gave me a dirty room, had to move my stuff again. They did comp me the first night for that. The two double doors to enter are designed for maximum inconvenience while carrying luggage or anything in and out, no automatic doors. The elevators were not working for two days. No one cared to tell anyone. Oh, There were roaches. Every night they came out in the bathroom and kitchen area, one crawling the ceiling above my bed at night. I bought raid and sprayed twice in two days because they were crawling around. It’s pretty new, fairly clean but barely, they use the hotel air scent that smells like male perfume, very strong. Costs you $10 for clean towels! No cleaning service except every 14 days. Trash bin is at front of property no one tells you where, Don’t dare leave food in trash in your room as it attracts the roaches. Nice little gym and laundry room. Staff were very kind. Yet. Roaches. I personally would not stay again.
