Upon my arrival to the hotel I was greeted by a friendly gentleman who took my bags and showed me to the check in area. I couldn’t help but notice that other guests upon arrival were greeted with a welcome drink but my guest and I were not. The room we were initially given had a strong odor as though it was recently painted. I must say that upon calling the front desk I was provided with a new room however the odor was also present in that room. The furniture was dated be the beds had visible rust on the legs. The room just seem to be that of a cheap motel rather than a hotel especially an internationally branded one. They held a “free NYE Party” which was open to the public. The party was not well planned and I waited over an hour to get two drinks. The stay overall was not a pleasant one but I chose to make the most of it. I must say though Giselle was very accommodating and the other members of staff were friendly. Radison should really look into upgrading their facility because they have a wonderful staff and if they’re provided with a great facility combined with their friendly customer service can turn things around

Latch on hotel door did not work, I had to put a chair behind the door when I retired at night- for safety also, keyhole was shattered and I couldn’t see who was at the door not safe- I advised staff two days after check in and when I checked out early room number 1116

We had an amazing stay here during the Xmas holidays ! All queries were promptly addressed by the staff. The room was a bit dated but kept very clean and the bed was exceptionally good. The pool and the premises are lovely and well maintained. We hung out at the pool everyday while there. The lunch we had from the restaurant downstairs was way better in taste and quality than the dinner at the Waterfront across the street! I would say, the courteous staff is the biggest asset this place has and it made a world of difference in our 4 day stay!

Most staff members were polite and helpful. The hotel was great, I’ve stayed at many Radisson hotels, especially around Eastern Europe. What bother me from this stay was the fact that I messaged the hotel about three days before my arrival to arrange airport transportation to hotel and back. I received a message confirming the airport pick up and the price of $30 USD. When we arrived at the airport we looked around the arrival hall to see if our shuttle was outside. We waited and looked around for about 30 minutes. I contacted the hotel and they mentioned “if you don’t see anyone from the hotel we recommend you get a taxi from the airport and tell them you’re coming to the Radisson Hotel” we did. We ended taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel. It was fine, we checked in and during the check in process I asked if I could confirm a taxi for the next morning at 4:30am. They said yes, it would be $45 USD plus a 4.5% fee for them booking a taxi. I agreed and paid with my credit card. The morning of our departure, we checked out and informed the gentleman at the desk that we had booked and “confirmed” a taxi for airport transfer. They had no reservation or knowledge of the reservation. They were calling around and even the Hyatt Hotel to try and get a taxi. We waited from 4:35am - 5:12am before we could get a taxi and head to the airport for a boarding time of 6:20am.

Room was good. The Glass window was not sound proof, we could hear vehicle noise all day and night. We arrived few hours early and requested for early check in, the staff told us the room is not ready yet and will be ready in an hour. So wend out looking for local food and explore places around. when we came back after 1 and half hours still room was not ready. Staff kept telling not ready. They were hot honest to let us know that the room will not be available before the check in time i.e 3PM. When we enquired about breakfast after conflicting information from different staff .they told us it is extra it will be $40 a Pearson /day and they could give it at $25/day /person. After complaining to the manager they provide us free breakfast. The breakfast is not worth $25 may be about $12. The greeting/ transpiration staff were superb.
