I would like to thank everyone at Kapok. I have a very good experience, the cleaning service was remarkably. The breakfast option was to die for, I am not a morning person but I made sure I was up for my breakfast. Front desk staff was amazing, the restaurant dinner was magnificent 10/10
This was our second time in 3 weeks staying at the Kapok hotel. You only come back for a second time if you really love a hotel.
So many good things to say. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The area was super walkable - with so many great shops, attractions and restaurants nearby. The staff were awesome - from the sweet people at the front desk to the wonderful breakfast staff. The hotel's two restaurants were so, so good. The pool and other amenities were amazing. Oh and I loved that I could do a massive load of laundry - wash and dry for TT$50.
And best of all - the price was very reasonable for all that we got.
Thank you to everyone at the Kapok hotel. We will be back for sure!
The staff were all very pleasant, friendly, and respectful. They provided swift service when needed. The breakfast buffet was our favorite in the mornings. We have visited twice and will visit again

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean but old. There was no hot water in the showers which was terribly inconvenient
Breakfast should have more variety daily, I felt it was the same items everyday.
There was a leak in the corridor to my room, old towels on the ground to catch the water. (Didn’t bother me too much) but can look unsightly, the staff did clean everyday.
wish there was more variety daily.
There was some moss in the pool
Great Hotel
Service is wonderful. The only problem is the TV. I think it’s time to upgrade the TV to a smart TV.
Everything else is great breakfast in the morning is a plus. Location is nice and clean
I love it
The Kapok hotel is located in a fantastic area of the city. It's very walkable and close to shops, restaurants, parks, embassies and other beautiful parts of the city.
The hotel lobby, pool and common areas are very clean and beautiful. The rooms are quite clean, spacious and the air conditioning is exceptional - keeping us very comfortable.
Hotel restaurants are delicious and the included breakfast is sincerely appreciated. And all of the staff are wonderful.
I highly recommend this hotel!
Just a note that we could hear music (bass thumping) a little loud on Friday and Saturday nights. However it shut down promptly at midnight Friday and before 11 on Saturday.
This is my third time staying at Kapok and one of the things I love the most is the breakfast and the ladies that work in the breakfast section... The rooms are fine and the beds are comfy. The Balcony is cool, I like to sit out there though it faces the street. It does seem like it's a bit of an older hotel, but it's fine.
I think one thing is that some of the front desk people could be friendlier. It was my third year I knew I had to wait for a room for early check in, and even longer this year. I just found the young lady to be so stern and not nice. Dealing with post concussion syndrome and a really bad hip, I didn't complain about what was wrong after travelling all night the night before. They are definitely more older/strick west indian at the hotel which is fine. But that can also come with friendly customer service. All the other staff were fine, the Bell Hops the staff when you order food.
Foodwise I did pay extra for a Christmas meal special it came with a salad which was really good, a risotto which was not good and a cheesecake /black cake dessert that was also not very good esp. for the price and the food there is usually so excellent. Any other meal I had was fine, breakfast, the grilled veggies and the chinese food I ordered on my last night.
