Property was very clean, quiet and solidly built. It was fully booked the night we stayed, and our room was upstairs in the far corner, a little distance from the car park. It had good privacy and a balcony shared with the next room. Settlers Inn is two doors down and had good quality meals and drinks. The Rugby Union field nearby (Port Macquarie Pirates) is attractive to walk to. The river is difficult to access due to privately owned canal frontage.

Lovely motel for our overnight stop over in Port Macquarie onroute to Sydney. Not too far off the main highway, so we didn't need to go all the way into town, with The Settlement shopping centre close by for a few groceries. The room had everything we needed. Very comfortable room.

Thank you so much for the lovely stay and upgrade. There was plenty of space. The room was clean and upkept. Only downside was we were near the pub and it was a Friday night. It was loud but seemed to quiet down around 10 which was wonderful. Highly recommend. Will be staying here the next time I go to Queensland!

Travelling during the recent bad weather event in NSW the staff at Macquarie Barracks were understanding and managed an earlier check in. In the meantime the pub next door offered a great lunch while I waited. Thank you.
